A woman who met her husband while dating his son as a teenager has shared an insight into their relationship.
Sydney Dean, 27, from Ohio, US, is married to truck driver Paul, 51 – with the couple sharing a 24-year-age gap.
She first met him when she was in the sixth grade [aged 11] while she was visiting her boyfriend – Paul’s son.
The teenage pair remained friends after splitting – but never anticipated that their relationship would one day have a very different dynamic.
Sydney says she found herself as a third wheel after her ex-boyfriend got a new girlfriend and would often chat to dad Paul instead.
